Even as a relatively small Society we feel we represent US dermatology as we travel the globe. As self-designated emissaries of dermatology in the United States we feel an obligation to present a professional appearance and attitude at all official functions of the Society. Business attire is usually worn to scientific meetings and visits to hospitals. Guest dermatologists from the countries we visit regularly attend the scientific sessions and social functions. Attendees and their guests frequently dress casually for activities which are not related to the scientific program.
